Representatives from the International Society for Mine Surveying (ISM), Irkutsk National Research Technical University in Russia (INRTU), and China University of Mining and Technology (CUMT) met for in-depth exchanges on strengthening cooperation in talent cultivation.

From October 26th to 29th, 2023, The XVIII International Congress for Mine Surveying was held in Xuzhou, China. It was organized by China University of Mining and Technology, China University of Mining and Technology (Beijing), Henan Polytechnic University, and Anhui University of Technology.

On the morning of April 2, the preparation workshop of the XVIII International Congress for Mine Surveying (the congress) was held through a combination of online and offline. More than 50 Chinese experts in mine surveying attended the conference. The meeting was held at the School of Environment and Spatial Informatics, China University of Mining and Technology (CUMT), and Prof. Zheng Nanshan, the Dean of the school, chaired the meeting.
