Tashkent State Technical University in Uzbekistan, and his delegation visited China University of Mining and Technology (CUMT). Prof. Bian Zhengfu, Vice President of China University of Mining and Technology and Chair of the Commission I of the International Society for Mine Surveying, met with the delegation.

The Institute of Mine Surveyors of Southern Africa, together with the International Society for Mine Surveying (ISM), held the 51st ISM Presidium Meeting in Cape Town, South Africa from October 6th to 9th, 2024.

Professor Axel Preusse, the former President of the International Society for Mine Surveying, would serve as the new Chairman of the AMEE.
