A ISM landmark has been built in front of the School of Environment and Spatial Informatics at the China University of Mining and Technology. The landmark was sponsored by China Coal Market Network and constructed by Jiangsu Wandefu Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd. It was completed on September 10, 2025.

In the afternoon of June 24, the opening ceremony of the 2025 International Higher Education Alliance for Mining, Energy and Environment（AMEE）& Jiangsu-UK World Class University Consortium Summer School, hosted by China University of Mining and Technology (CUMT), was held at CUMT.
