5. Agenda

5.1.Opening
5.2.All attendees observed one minute’ silence before the meeting begin.
5.3.Four new members were admitted to ISM commission by the recommendation of presidium members.
5.4.Honorary member, Dr. Georgiev (Bulgaria) reported the application intention to join in the ISM from the Republic of Macedonia
5.5.the ISM president conferred the certificates signed by him to the honorary members and the presidium members of ISM. The members of commissions were also be given the certificate signed by both the ISM president and the chairmen of the commissions
5.6.The meeting ratified the minutes of the 28th presidium meeting took place during ISM 11th International Congress that was held at Krakow, Poland last year
5.7.All attendees consider: ISM president led the group to visit UNESCO before this meeting was a new turn in the course of history of ISM
5.8.Dr. Mayoud, the representative of FIG, suggested a cooperation project between ISM and FIG named “Region of Tumen River”

5.10.The revising group’s chief of ISM statute, presidium member Dr. Palm, put forward detailed explanation about the complement and revision of ISM. This meeting express thanks for their industrious working, clarified and affirmed two suggestions
5.11.The general arrangement about the 12th international congress of ISM that will held in China in 2003 is as follows: the place may be Beijing or Fuxin, the time will be September or October in 2003 for 6 days, the scale will be 300-400 peoples, the register fee will be 480 dollars. The meeting hope that host China can fix the concrete place and other details as earlier as possible and China should make a 1st announcement before may in 2002. As to the scale, it is a proposal that congress should be enlarged to 700-800 peoples

5.12.The president circulated to the meeting: Two commissions (commission 1 and 5 have change chairmen, the ISM president will appoint the two new
5.13.The meeting approved of the activity of awarding excellent papers of two young science and technology mine surveyors during the 12th congress of ISM to be held in 2003 in China
5.14.The meeting listened to and approved the arranging report of the ISM 30th presidium meeting to be held in UK when decided originally in UK in September,2002
5.15.The meeting listened to and agreed with the arranging report about the 13th international meeting of ISM to be held when decided originally in Hungary in 2006
5.16.The Meeting listened to Prof. Preusse’s report about working condition and development plan of ISM Network
5.17.After the delegates introduce their native condition of mine surveying, the Meeting reach a consensus: ISM must set up new notion of widening professional fields of mine surveying in future, for that, ISM should more do well the works of leading and organizing in that direction
