Guidelines
The International Congress for Mine Surveying is the major scientific event organized under the auspices of the International Society for Mine Surveying (ISM). The aim of this congress is to bring together international experts to share their work and experiences and to promote research and development in Mine Surveying.
The congress is hosted by an institution under the auspices of an endorsing ISM member organization. It has been the tradition that the location of ISM Congress follows a rotating schedule among different continents. Hence, proposals from Europe are strongly encouraged. However, high quality bids from other locations will also be reviewed for consideration.
The submission of a bid implies full agreement with the guidelines and procedures for hosting the congress as well as with the ISM constitution.
Deadlines and Decisions
The selection of the congress venue will be made by the ISM Presidium Meeting at ISM 2023 in Xuzhou, China. Institutions interested in organizing ISM 2029 should submit the bid to ISM secretariat (ism_china@126.com) by October 25, 2023.
