On May 29, 2024, Science and Technology Daily reported that China Coal Science Xi'an Research Institute Transparent Geological Company recently used high-precision LiDAR scanning modeling technology to draw the first centimeter level scanning map of a full mine in China. This map achieves surveying level scanning and reconstruction of the entire mine roadway, depicting the underground situation of the mine with centimeter level accuracy.
